LG has dropped yet another laptop PC called R200, ruled by Intel Centrino Duo Mobile Technology based on Intel Core 2 Duo Santa Rosa Platform Processor.
The 12.1-inch laptop comes in black and white color with dual high-gloss finish and takes on normal 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 7300 CPU, Intel 965 chipset, 802.11a/b/g/n WLAN plus 1GB turbo memory.

You would not fall in love with this laptop at first sight. However, it would definitely thrill you once you lay your hands on it.
Based on the Intel Santa Rosa Platform is the fully-loaded Q70 notebook PC by Samsung.
This powerhouse is driven by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor. For those who have an eye for detail, it could not get better with an Intel GMA X3100 graphics or nVidia GeForce 8400M graphics card. The gaming freaks would love it for sure.

The laptop also supports WiFi with MIMO, Bluetooth and DMB TV reception. Additionally, it features a 13.3-inch LCD display, a 6-in-1 memory card reader and an aluminium palm rest. It is slated for a release in June and would be priced at 169,000(KRW).

Apple updates MacBooks

Apple recently announced a refresh of its MacBook notebook computer range, integrating Intel’s of late introduced Santa Rosa platform with latest Core 2 Duo processors, 1GB of memory and 802.11n draft wireless networking. The updated MacBooks are available on Apple’s Online Store immediately
The updated MacBooks now feature Intel Core 2 Duo mobile CPUs with speeds of up to 2.16GHz (with 4MB L2 cache), 2GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (2 memory slots) and 200GB hard drives. The raw power in conjunction with an integrated webcam atop the shimmering 13.3″ widescreen, an assortment of connectivity options, which are included with DVI, and the potential to dual-boot in OS X Tiger or Windows Vista, encourages users to get one for themselves.
Schiller said,
The MacBook is a huge hit with customers, and is one of the reasons that Mac sales are growing three times faster than PC sales.
