Another entrant in Samsung Electronic
??s famly, Desknote Sens G25 notebook. This latest model measures 19 inches and comes in a glossy black color to tout its 320GB SATA hard drive and seven USB 2.0 ports.
Its display offers contrast ratio of 1,000 to 1 and a brightness level of 300cd/m2 especially for your eyes to feel relaxed and also offers a regular desktop PC keyboard-like whopping numeric keyboard.
The device will hit Korean shelves sometimes later this month for $1,090 approximately.

Gateway makes a recall for 14,000 notebook batteries
June 21, 2007 2:27 amDell, Apple, Lenovo, and other global laptop makers have already recalled more than 8 million Sony batteries and now, Gateway is recalling 14,000 batteries used in its notebook PCs after four of its customers complained that their computers were overheated. The battery cells have been made by Samsung Electronics Company Limited while they have been amassed into battery packs by Simplo Technology Company Limited, of Taiwan. Samsung hasn

Some of the notebooks that fall under the recall are the Gateway 400VTX and 450ROG series notebooks sold between May 2003 and August 2003. The defected batteries have been recognized by part numbers 6500760 or 6500761 and have a “made by SMP” on the label pasted on the underside of the battery pack. Gateway spokeswoman Lisa Emard said:
