General Dynamics Itronix intros semi-rugged GoBook(R) VR-2 Notebook

General Dynamics Itronix recently came up with the GoBook VR-2, its X-gen semi-rugged notebook PC built-in with Intel Core 2 Duo processor T7300 operating at 2GHz. The laptop comes built-in with a 13.3-inch display with DynaVue, a patent-pending display technology that makes an allowance for comfy viewing in all lighting situation.
Being targeted at mobile workers and field agents in commercial/military/public safety areas, the GoBook VR-2 weighs just 6.2 pounds, and is capable of resisting a rated 6 drops from 30 inches. Additional sports of the GoBook VR-2 are built-in WWAN, Bluetooth Class 2 connectivity and 802.11 a/b. The GoBook VR-2 comes with the price tag of $3,500 for the base configuration.
