Toshiba Portege R500 User Review

The Toshiba Portege R500 is one of the few notebooks with a weight of around 1kg (2.25lbs), an integrated optical drive and a transflective display that can be used in the sunshine. It has now been on sale for about a year but our review of this notebook back in August 2007 was not very flattering. Has the R500 improved since launch? Let’s take a look.
